How this works:

Anyone who is not a member of this Steam community group, can still play on our game-servers (assuming they are not banned), but will not have access to various special in-game features.
Anyone who shows-up as a "Member" of this Steam community group, is automatically granted acess to some special in-game features (various types of "voting", "3rd-person", etc.) in our game-servers.
Anyone who shows-up as an "Officer" of this Steam community group (with the gold/yellow star "⭐" next to their name here), is also automatically an "administrator" of most of our game-servers.

Further, I have restored administrator access to most current or former (and, in some cases ancient) administrators from these Steam community groups:

Weasels Lair
Freaks & Misfits (now retired)
Saphe.Space (now retired)

For those who are administrators themselves, and perhaps do not remember all the other administrators in-game player names (since they do tend to change over time, and this group has existed in some form for probably over a decade now), you can lookup-up some of their former common names in this thread: Admin Info: List of current administrators. BTW: Access to that thread is restricted to existing administrators only, since administrators may want to keep some of that information (former names) confidential.

FYI: Update to game-server maintenance schedule

I have changed the maintenance schedule of the game-servers based on new capabilities.

Instead of restarting all game-servers daily to avoid errors (and weekly to perform clean backups), they will only be scheduled to be restarted weekly (to perform clean backups).

This is made possible by a new capability, which will monitor the game-servers "often" (at least every 15 minutes, if no overlapping daily or weekly maintanance process is scheduled) and restart only the affected server as needed.

This new "monitoring" capability is provided by newly created scripts, which are published as part of my guide: Weasel's Dedicated-Server Management Scripts (for Linux).

The only scheduled down-time on a recurring basis will be:

Mondays at UTC: 10:00 ("ten-hundred hours Zulu").
Mondays at New York: 06:00 AM - Daylight/Summer-Time
Mondays at Washington D. C.: 06:00 AM - Daylight/Summer-Time
Mondays at Chicago: 05:00 AM - Daylight/Summer-Time
Mondays at Las Vegas: 03:00 AM - Daylight/Summer-Time
Mondays at Rachel[en.wikipedia.org]: 03:00 AM - Daylight/Summer-Time
Mondays at Los Angeles: 03:00 AM - Daylight/Summer-Time
Mondays at Hawaii: 12:00 AM
